The 25th marks the sites true anniversary, but we’re almost there. A whole year.
It’s been an interesting year at least. My last post was working on the Godot car driving model. Since then I’ve been bitten by a dog, passed a Microsoft Certification, and privately worked on a few small creative projects. Unfortunately my own dogs also passed away this year.
The dog bite ruined a pair of nice jeans, but was fully healed after a week or so and left no lasting damage. The dog in question was a rescue newly adopted at the time by a relative. The experience did change the way I view dogs – I’ve previously always loved and inherently trusted dogs, even those owned by a stranger. I think since then I’ve begun to treat dogs with a gentle caution, though I do still love them dearly.
Work has occupied a lot of my free time this year, with developing my network and MDM skills and passing the MD102 Endpoint Administrator Exam. I can honestly say this was one of the more difficult exams I’ve passed.

I’ve minorly dabbled with further 3D modelling and texture work in Blender, Godot, and CS2:

I also got around to some of the various DIY needed this year, replacing the tap, boarding some of the loft space for storage, painting cabinets, and so on.

With some of the pressing events of the year put to bed, I fully intend now to return to more creative pursuits in my leisure time.
