Academic
I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
During my studies, I worked with languages such as C#, C++, Python, Java, R, PDDL, and CUDA. While I don’t use these every day, they’ve provided a strong foundation for the PowerShell automation that’s essential in my current work.
The culmination of my academic work was a 10,000 word paper on PACS Network Optimisation; dissecting current medical imaging techniques and how network optimisation can enhance the ability to transmit big data in relatively short time-frames. This involved simulation of scaling networks using NS3, and creating Big O notation representations of network efficiencies.

Personal
My computer journey began over two decades ago when I learned to use DOS to launch games. While my love for games has never wavered, my relationship with books has been a steady passion that I’ve recently rediscovered after a few years hiatus. That’s one of the beautiful things about storytelling in books and games, the stories are ready when you are.
Outside of work, I enjoy tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Starfinder. They offer co-operative storytelling and character exploration that keeps me coming back. When I find time, I like to write creatively or learn about new systems.
I also enjoy level design, and have previously published maps for Counter-Strike.
